As a youth worker, there are times when I wonder if what I am doing is having the desired impact on the teens I serve. The Church HAS TO WAKE UP and see that what happened in Germany can well happen in the USA--maybe is already happening in the USA--and our churches may be empty sooner than know. If we are to take seriously Christ's "Go and make Disciples..." The Church MUST FOCUS OUR PRIORITIES ON CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS! Just wanted you to know what a wonderful time you are living in to be able to use this technology in your ministry. Really wish I were younger. Remember as late as 1980 offices were still using typewriters and shorthand and thought they had the latest technology. Thought faxes, etc. were really something at that time. Really enjoyed this! How wonderful it is to hear others who "get it"--if we care about ministry to Children and Youth we have to back it up with support dollars. It is true that if you want to see what someone values, look at where they spend their dollars. I pray that the local church will wake up and that church budgets will reflect a committment to children's ministry! WOW!
